Yes it really happened. A boy was so into his book that he didn’t notice the bell ring. What was he reading? Where did he get that book?
At Kidsrecommendbooks.com, kids rate books for other kids and everyone wins.
Find out about the latest, greatest books to read (and the stinkers to avoid)!
Here’s how it works: Kids write in and tell us about the books they love (or hate). We post the reviews so other kids can find new books to read.
Parents, teachers, and other adults can browse the site to get ideas on which books are hot and which books are yucky. We’ll list the top 10 books to read, books to own, and the books to eschew.
Kids recommend books includes book reviews for children s books, teen books, and books for young adults.
We’re also looking for some resident kid editors who review books and write about other topics that interest kids. What are your top ten books to read? Want to interview authors & share your views about the world and your list of top ten books to read on your own personal pages?
After a while you may find that your taste coincides with one of our regular Kid Editors and you’ll want to watch for their reviews. Our original editors have all grown up so we're looking for new blood. Once you’ve reviewed a few books, you’ll be eligible to apply to become a resident kid editor. If selected, you get a free tee Shirt and a page of your own!
Books are arranged loosely by age of the reviewer. We include the author and title of books. You’ll find all sorts of books including: books about the American Dream, famous kids books, George Washington books, books to own and books to eschew. Looking for biographical fiction books for children, this is the place. You can also search for books by author. New reviews are placed at the top of the page so you can come back again and again for good book ideas.
You can find all the books listed on this site in our amazon store so you can order books right from this site or get them at your local library.
This is a great place to browse around if you’re looking for books as gifts, famous kids books, and good books that are not so famous.
When kids write book reviews of children s books, recommending the books they love and exposing books to eschew, everyone wins.
Writing book reviews for children s books is easy. Just go to our Recommend a Book page and fill out the simple form. You’ll need to know the author and title of books and we also ask you age and where your from. The age is important because besides listing the author and title of books, we also list the age of the reviewer because kids your same age might also like the book.
