My name is Jeanne Russell and I am the adult editor and owner of this web-site. The resident kid editors for kidsrecommendbooks.com and I all live in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
We started this project because I was considering home schooling my son Daniel and thought this would be a fun way for him and his friends to practice their writing skills. It is also a great way to provide a much needed resource for people who don’t know which books to buy for their children. People are always asking Daniel which books to buy for their children. Ultimately, this site will expand into all sorts of areas and we are so excited to see where this adventure leads.
My friends Suzanne and Barbara are also very involved in this project along with their children, Samantha, Jaqie, and Alex. Everyone contributes something and we are all learning as we go.
